It all started with a 3-year old in make-up.
Let me explain.

I've always been fascinated by photography and the way it freezes time, telling a story in just one single frame. There is something so magical about capturing a moment and having it transcend space and time.
My mother kept our family photos in keepsake boxes. I often sat on her bedroom floor, digging through the memories, one image at a time. Those picture boxes preserve a history that no words could ever convey.

By far, my favorite subject to shoot is people. Maybe it's the psychologist in me, but nothing beats the expressions, the movement, and the memories behind each image. My first-ever muse was my gorgeous, curly-haired baby sister. Being nearly 9 years older, I fancied her my very own living baby doll. I would spend Saturday afternoons dressing her up, painting her face with our mom's make-up, and holding photo shoots throughout the house.

Of course, you can still find some of these photos in our family picture box.

Moonlighting behind a lens.

Photography is my creative outlet.
With a demanding corporate job, it allows me to find balance and contribute something different to the world. It exercises other parts of my brain. It let's me unleash the blue-haired 15-year old that still lives somewhere inside me (yes I had blue hair).

Sometimes you just need a break from the Excel spreadsheets.

I'm a Miami native with a deep love for my hometown. I share a cozy Coconut Grove home with my other half, Javier, where we spend our days dreaming up our next adventure (and business venture), drinking homemade almond milk cappuccinos, and doing never-ending yard work.

Maybe one day we'll get a dog.
